I am SO proud of Lisa! She is training to run the Canon Ball Half Marathon on 18-Oct.  Today she ran almost 9 miles!  The furthest she’s ever run…until her next long training run on 5-Oct.



Lisa & I went to The annual Greek Festival yesterday to enjoy great weather and yummy food.

Terrance Brennan of Artisanal in New York City says, “The biggest mistake people make is wrapping cheese tightly in plastic—that doesn’t allow the cheese to breathe. Instead, loosely wrap cheese in parchment paper, then store it in a cool area like a wine cabinet or in the crisper section of your fridge.”

Located between Nashville TN and St . Louis MO is the small Kentucky town of Princeton.  Not much happens there.  Unless you like ham!  A delicacy of the south.  Walk or run to Newsom’s for aged hams, country hams, prosciutto, smoked sausage, smoked bacon and preserves.
