The C-5 Galaxy, fist flown in Jun-1968, is the USAF largest cargo aircraft. Affectionaly known as the "FRED" its is the backbone of the USAF cargo fleet and capable of carrying combat equipment to any location on the globe. This particular aircrat, 70-0463, was visiting GSO from the WV ANG.
